Before we begin the actual bleaching process, we conduct a thorough examination of your teeth at our modern dentistry practice in Leipzig. Any existing problems such as Caries or gum inflammation must be treated before bleaching.
During treatment
When bleaching teeth in Leipzig, we first protect your gums with a special protective gel or rubber membrane to prevent irritation. We then apply the bleaching gel evenly to your teeth. Depending on the desired degree of whitening and the initial situation, the gel is left on the teeth for a certain amount of time and can be reapplied several times. The entire treatment takes about 60 to 90 minutes. During this time, you can relax in our treatment chair.
After the treatment
After whitening your teeth, we thoroughly remove the gel and neutralize any residue. Immediately after the treatment, you can see the difference – your teeth are visibly brighter. We recommend that you avoid strongly coloring foods and drinks for the first 48 hours after teeth bleaching, as your teeth are particularly susceptible to staining during this time.
