These virtually invisible plastic splints are custom-made for each patient and enable discreet tooth correction without annoying wires or brackets. Treatment begins at our dental practice in Leipzig with a no-obligation initial consultation, during which we assess your teeth alignment and discuss whether Invisalign is the right solution for you. We address your individual needs and expectations and clarify any open questions.
Once you have decided on Invisalign, we use state-of-the-art 3D computer technology to create a detailed digital scan of your teeth. This scan enables us to create a precise simulation of your tooth movements before treatment begins. Based on this data, we develop an individual treatment plan that includes the exact sequence of tooth movements and the estimated duration of treatment.
The digital scan is used to create a series of custom-made aligners that are specifically tailored to your teeth. Each aligner is designed to move your teeth step by step into the desired position. The aligners are made of transparent, medical-grade plastic and are virtually invisible.
Once your custom-made aligners are ready, you will start wearing the first aligner. You should wear the aligners for at least 20–22 hours a day and only remove them for eating, drinking, and dental care. Every one to two weeks, you will switch to a new set of aligners that will support the next steps in your tooth movement.
Note: You can remove the aligners at any time. This allows you to eat and drink whatever you want without restrictions. This makes oral hygiene easier and allows you to maintain your usual lifestyle.
Throughout the treatment period, we will schedule regular check-ups to monitor your progress and ensure that your teeth are moving as planned. These appointments are important for making any necessary adjustments and ensuring the success of the treatment.
